Due to the current EXTREME fire danger index, all open-air fires are strictly prohibited starting October 1st 2025 throughout the municipality of Clarendon until further notice.
This fire ban includes, but is not limited to:
- Campfires
- Outdoor fireplaces, even compliant ones
- Fireworks
- Any activity that generates open flames or sparks outdoors
This measure is implemented to help protect people, property, and the environment from increased fire risk.
Important Note: Fire permit applications are suspended until further notice.
Please properly extinguish cigarette butts and never discard them on the ground or in nature.
We will inform you as soon as the situation allows for the ban to be lifted.
